New to the area and the bowl inn was recommended to us by a gentleman who came to do some work at the house. They say you never get the chance to make another good first impression and we were very impressed. The bar area has old world charm, a great selection of drinks and friendly bar staff. The restaurant is lovely with great views, there is also a lovely garden with tables and chairs. The menu was varied and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. Our food was beautifully presented and was lovely. Couldn’t fault it. Had to check the bill as for what we had we thought they had undercharged us but was just very good value for such lovely food. Will definitely be going back and look forward to the pizza place opening.

We had previously been to this Hidden Gem and had a wonderful evening and an excellent dinner. So when the opportunity came up to meet up again, we had no hesitation in choosing the Bowl Inn again for our venue and evening dinner. Alice, once again welcomed us and made us very comfortable at our table for eight. Drinks were swiftly served whilst we chose our starters and main courses. There were so many inviting dishes available n the menu, we were spoilt for choice, and when the courses arrived, they didn’t disappoint, far from it! A big thank you to the whole team, including Alice, Maddie, Tom, Michal, James, Luke & Jack We all thoroughly enjoyed our courses and felt extremely well looked after. It’s a no wonder where we will be holding our next dinner get together. You Guys are the Best! Well done and we will see you very soon. Keep up the great work!

I love this pub so much … been here several times and each time I come away happy . Today myself, daughter and mum had lunch sausage baguettes and cheeses chips. Food just cooked perfect and good value money. No alcohol evolved today but lattes and a mocha matched good coffee shop ones. The pub is very clean and welcoming. Staff are lovely too especially the beautiful barmaid with the blonde hair . I recommend you check out this little gem if you love an old country pub!
